Coaching Recruitment Begins For Red Star Camp UK 2024!

James Quinn

Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to now be accepting coaching applications for Red Star Camp UK 2024.

After the record-breaking successes of Red Star Camp UK 2023, in which 225 young athletes experienced the Red Star School of basketball in Leeds, we are now accepting applications for coaches to join us at camp next summer from Monday 29th July to Saturday 3rd August.

As of 14th August 2023, there are already over 175 young people signed up for 2024, which indicates that yet again, Red Star Camp UK will be back bigger and better next year.

Camp Director Matt Newby was was buoyed by the start of the 2024 camp cycle:

“This year's camp was outstanding on a number of levels, and the size and scale of camp meant we had to recruit a large staff, who were committed to delivering to the highest standards and maintaining the strong reputation of the camp. I can safely say this was achieved as we continue to receive positive praise and feedback from campers and parents/guardians alike.

Furthermore we have received 175 subscriptions for our 2024 camp in the first ten days, which is testimony to the environment we created this year.

In 2024 we anticipate higher numbers and wish to level up once more. We are looking for pedigree master coaches with experience in youth development and performance aspects of the game from home and abroad.

We also welcome applications from aspiring coaches who wish to challenge their potential, and offer internships for those who wish to step in to the sport. This gateway in to the game has been the starting point for a number of National Team and Senior National League coaches.

We invite expressions of interest from today."

Please see below the job specification and details on how to apply.
