Red Star Elite Week 2025 is delighted to announce that Coach Milan Mandaric will fly in to head up the Coaching staff for our inaugural camp.

Coach Mandaric will take the helm as Master Coach for the inaugural Elite Week Camp.
Milan works as a global consultant for multiple National Basketball Federations, providing Coach education, technical direction and pathway development, including Argentina. This will be his 7th year visiting our camps and his expertise is unrivalled, representing the very best of the Serbian Basketball School.
His remit for Elite Week is to elevate the technical competencies of the players, develop their tactical acumen, help them understand the modern game and potentially signpost those with potential to the appropriate exit routes.
Director Matt Newby was ecstatic to return a world-class expert and Coach:
"Milan's reputation on the court is exceptional and this is underpinned by a high-order academic grounding and a highly-impressive career as a coach with the Red Star youth teams. His tenures have overseen some of very best products of the KK Crvena Zvezda system, with a significant number of his charges now sitting amongst the highest calibre in the Euroleague and Serbian National team. He is recognised as a leading world expert with multiple clubs, programmes and National governing bodies, engaging in his consultancy on both coach and player development. Milan's network is unrivalled and our campers will be the beneficiary of his expertise."
Ahead of the inaugural Elite Week Camp in 2025, Coach Mandaric was excited to see the further development of the Red Star brand in Leeds after 6 incredible years:
“Returning to the UK this year brings an exciting new opportunity to elevate the Red Star offer in the country. The opportunity to enhance the offer in 2025 was one of the reasons I chose to return for the 7th straight year to Leeds. The talent in the UK is potentially undervalued and untapped, and the chance to work with those players who have aspirations to reach the next level in Europe was not to be missed. My experiences in the Leeds have always been incredibly positive and the opportunity to further develop coaches, players and officials is unique. The staff for Elite Week is exciting and I feel that the returns will be very high."
10 spaces were just added for this year's Elite Week Camp - Prospective athletes should apply now.
