WSLB Head Coach soars in from Newcastle for Red Star Camp UK 2025.

Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that Coach Chloe Gaynor will rejoin the coaching staff for Red Star Camp UK 2025.

Coach Gaynor's ascension in coaching has been fantastic after completing the Basketball England Level 3 Coach course last year at Red Star camp and having had significant success in the youth ranks with the Newcastle Eagles. Chloe took the helm of the Newcastle Eagles' Women’s SLB side in November and has accrued an impressive record within a short space of time, with the Eagles women vying for a top 3 finish.

Director Matt Newby was excited to return a trusted coach to camp for 2025:

“I am pleased we have returned Coach Gaynor for 2025 and excited to see how her season closes. Importantly she is a strong role model for our young women at camp and has the experiences of her own playing career as a powerful resource for mentorship. We can't wait to see her again in Leeds.

Coach Gaynor was excited to be back in Leeds for another year:

“I’m excited to be returning for a second year at Red Star Camp and really excited to get to work with the rising stars on the women’s side this year. I had a great time last year learning from and working with some great coaches and players and I’m looking forward to having a great experience again this year!”
