Red Star Basketball Camp UK is excited to announce that Coach Kayla Johnson will join us this year at Red Star Camp from NCAAII University Of Alaska Fairbanks.
Red Star Camp is looking forward to welcoming talented NCAA Scholarship Athlete Kayla Johnson to the camp coaching staff for 2024.
As a teammate of fellow Red Star Coach Anna Nevison, Coach Johnson has been a standout at NCAAII University Of Alaska Fairbanks, receiving GNAC Academic All-Conference and GNAC All-Conference Honourable Mention honours.
Director Matt Newby was excited to welcome another talented young female Coach to the ranks for 2024.
"Kayla is our second addition to the camp coaching roster from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has been a standout at the NCAAII programme. She has strong experience in educational and coaching domains, but most importantly, we have recruited another strong female role-model for our record-breaking female cohort."
Ahead of a sold out, record-breaking camp in 2024, Coach Johnson is excited to join us on camp:
“I'm super excited to be coming across the pond this summer. Having never travelled to Europe before, I’m honoured to have the chance to be involved in such a prestigious camp and experience basketball outside of the United States. I’m looking forward to being able to have an impact on the campers and be an example of where hard work can get you. As a college athlete i feel that my experiences will be able to relate well to camp both on and off the court."
Red Star Camp UK 2024 is now SOLD OUT - We look forward to welcoming all our campers to Leeds on 29th July.
