Up & Coming National Teams Coach adds more pedigree to Red Star Camp UK 2025.

Red Star Basketball Camp 2025 is delighted to announce that Coach Caitlyn Riley will join the coaching roster for our 2025 camp in Leeds.

Following a season leading the Nottingham Wildcats Division 2 Women, Coach Riley was recently appointed to the role of Head Coach for the England U15 Girls this summer. Having developed under the tutelage of Siobhan Prior and the Wildcats programme, she hails from a well-healed stable of coaching talent. Caitlyn is passionate about the sport of basketball and specifically, the women's and girls' game and has taken every opportunity available within the Basketball England Performance Pathway to evolve. Coach Riley joins Red Star in 2025 as part of our largest and deepest female coaching roster we've ever had and we look forward to her contributions both on and off the floor.

Director Matt Newby was excited to yet again be championing young female coaches within our basketball fraternity:

"Coach Riley hails from a programme steeped in basketball heritage and has an appetite to learn and contribute in equal measure. It is important that we continue to support young British talent, specifically in the Women's domain, and Caitlyn's journey, although still in its infancy as a Coach, remains impressive. The collective of female coaches that we are bringing together is very exciting as I feel it ultimately strengthens the Women's basketball fraternity through the opportunities that camp provides."

Ahead of her first summer in Leeds, Coach Riley was looking forward to being on the floor at Red Star Camp UK:
