Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that Team Solent Kestrels U18 Women's Head Coach Annie Scanlon has confirmed her return to Red Star Camp UK 2024.
Coach Scanlon returns to Red Star Camp UK for her third year after taking the reins as Head Coach of Team Solent Kestrels U18 Women. Annie's passion and enthusiasm for teaching the game has made her a firm favourite with campers at our 2022 & 2023 camps.
Camp Director Matt Newby was excited to return one of the most exciting young female coaches in the country:
"Annie is certainly a young and upcoming coach with an appetite to learn. This has seen her ascend at a steep trajectory in the domestic ranks, and the campers feedback wholesale was exemplary last year on Coach Scanlon’s contribution. The importance of having young female role models for our young female athletes cannot be underestimated. It’ll be great to see what another year of growth brings from Coach Scanlon, and her infectious enthusiasm will be welcome once more.
Ahead of a sold out, record-breaking camp in 2024, Coach Scanlon is looking forward to joining us in Leeds:
