Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that exciting young National Teams Pathway Coach Jake Shuttlewood will return to Red Star Camp UK for 2024.
Red Star Camp is delighted to confirm that Jake Shuttlewood from the City Of Leeds Basketball Club will return to Red Star for the 3rd straight summer.
Following another strong season coaching at the Junior level, Coach Shuttlewood has been rewarded with a call up as an Assistant Coach with the Basketball England ETP U14 Boys squad for this summer.
Director Matt Newby was delighted to return another top-quality young coach for another year:
"Over the last year, we have seen Coach Shuttlewood’s stock rise once again as he has been elevated to the England U14 Boys Assistant Coach role. His diligence and hard work within our own community has seen him impacting our Junior National League programme and our broader community portfolio in equal measure. His ambition, drive and willingness to learn, make him an incredibly valuable asset within the camp domain."
Ahead of a sold out, record-breaking camp in 2024, Coach Shuttlewood is excited to join us on camp:
“I am excited to join Red Star Camp UK and it's an honour to invited by Coach Newby and contribute to the great legacy he is building. I am looking forward to working with some elite-level coaches as well as the very talented cohort of players lined up for camp. I always enjoy the opportunity to share my basketball journey and give back to our next generation of ballers.
