Talented young female Coach returns for Red Star Camp 2025.

Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that Coach Taneshia Chambers-Harrison will return to our Coaching roster for our 2025 camp.

We are excited to confirm that Coach Taneshia Chambers-Harrison will rejoin Red Star Camp UK after impressing in her first year on camp last summer. Increasing the presence of female coaches on the camp has been key to the growth in numbers and quality of experience. Importantly it’s a great platform for the growth and development of the women’s game in the UK. Fundamentally we need more women being elevated within and elevating the game. Taneshia embodies that premise; she is a coach that is fully vested in the expansion and development of the game specifically for young women navigating the domestic landscape.

Director Matt Newby was buoyed by this first announcement for our 2025 camp:

“Returning Taneshia to Red Star was an important move we had to make. She is an excellent example for our young women and a talented coach who's high-quality work was noticed and appreciated in 2024. I am excited to see her back on the floor!"

Coach Chambers-Harrison was excited to be returning to Leeds:

“Year one opened my eyes to so many opportunities, new connections, ideas and pathways and I can’t wait for round two! Back for another year, ready to work, grow, and leave it all on the court. Let’s get it!
