Coach Zoe Willis soars in for first ever Elite Week in 2025.

Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that Coach Zoe Willis is confirmed for our inaugural Elite Week Camp.
Elite Week is looking forward to welcoming Newcastle Eagles professional player & U16 Boys Premier Head Coach Zoe Willis, who has high-level experience both domestically and abroad and continues to cut her craft as an up and coming coach. She was a highly-valuable asset on last year’s Red Star Camp and we look forward to her further impacting the Elite Week environment this summer.
Director Matt Newby was confident in this latest edition to the Elite Week Coaching roster:
“Zoe’s coaching career, although in its infancy, has been very impactful and she is highly-respected among the North-East coaching fraternity, having had a successful tenure over the Newcastle Eagles U16s Premier group. She has a high basketball IQ and a passion for coaching the game which will stand her in good stead in the future.”
Ahead of the inaugural Elite Week Camp in 2025, Coach Willis was excited to return to Leeds:
“I am thrilled to be invited back to Redstar this year, especially being part of the first ever elite week. Working alongside Coach Newby as a player and a coach has been a privilege and both him and James do an amazing job with these camps. It is the perfect opportunity for the elite young players to learn from some of the best and something I wish I had the opportunity to do when I was a younger player myself."
