Camp Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Booking and Payment

• A place at any Red Star Basketball Camp is secured upon receipt of the completed registration form and payment of the required deposit (if applicable).

• The total camp fee is charged per participant.

• Families may elect to pay the camp fee in instalments over a period of up to eight (8) months.

• The full camp fee must be paid in full no later than sixty (60) days before the first day of camp.

• Failure to maintain agreed instalment payments or to pay the outstanding balance by the payment deadline may result in the participant's place being withdrawn at the discretion of the camp organisers, with any refunds being subject to the cancellation policy set out below.

Participant Cancellation

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to the camp organisers. The date the written cancellation is received will determine any refund entitlement.

• Where a participant withdraws from camp:

  • Ninety (90) days or more before the first day of camp: A full (100%) refund of all monies paid will be issued.

  • Between sixty (60) and eighty-nine (89) days before the first day of camp: A refund of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount paid will be issued.

  • Less than sixty (60) days before the first day of camp: No refund will be issued. However, the Camp Director may, at their sole discretion, offer a credit transfer of monies paid to the following summer's camp. Any such credit transfer is not guaranteed, is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may only be applied to the participant named on the original booking.

Non-Attendance

• No refund will be provided for participants who fail to attend camp, arrive late, leave early, or are unable to participate due to illness, injury, personal circumstances, or any other reason. The Camp Director may, at their sole discretion, consider a credit transfer to the following summer's camp in exceptional circumstances.

Exceptional Circumstances

• Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel and cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may prevent attendance.

• Any exception to this policy shall be entirely at the discretion of the Camp Director and does not constitute a waiver of these terms for any future bookings.

Acceptance of Terms

• By submitting a booking and making payment towards the residential basketball camp, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Payment, Cancellation and Refund Terms and Conditions.
