Red Star Basketball Camp UK is delighted to announce that Coach Katie Lamond has re-signed for our 2024 camp.
Following over a decade with the City Of Leeds Basketball Club, Coach Katie Lamond has taken on a new role with the Leeds-based programme, as the newly-appointed Women's & Girls' Basketball Development Officer.
Director Matt Newby was delighted to see the progression of this home-grown coaching talent:
"Katie has grown up within the City Of Leeds programme and has been the beneficiary of the programme's pathway. She is doing a sterling job with the U16 and U18 Women's cohorts at the City Of Leeds, and we look forward to her bringing her passion and enthusiasm to the floor once more at Red Star."
Ahead of a sold out, record-breaking camp in 2024, Coach Lamond is excited to be back at camp:
"I loved my experience and involvement in Red Star last year. It was beyond incredible to have worked with a variety of elite coaches and high calibre players. I'm excited to have the opportunity to once again learn, enhance and work alongside so many accomplished and skilled leaders. As well as getting the chance to once again collaborate with some extremely talented young players."
